This special flavor is born from the encounter between our desire to innovate and the desire of our consumers to have this flavor in our gelaterias. The banana is a much loved fruit, but also very delicate, which reaches its best taste only at the right level of ripeness. Not using aromas, colors, emulsifiers or antioxidants, our concern was to choose the perfect bananas.
In order to have fresh milk daily, we chose to use high-quality milk from cows raised in Piedmont. The evaluations of the stalls and milking barn are even more rigorous: this allows us to gently pasteurize the milk, without altering its organoleptic properties, while maintaining its finest qualities.
Many flavors of Italian gelato are egg-based. The eggs we use for our gelato are from cage-free hens.
The banana is a very delicate fruit that oxidizes easily and reaches its best taste only at the right moment of ripeness.
