We could nickname this sorbet on a stick “the one with the little seeds.” In fact, how many of you have ever found a strawberry seed in the traditional ice pop you eat in the park or at the beach? Our raspberry sorbet on a stick, just like the strawberry one, contains real seeds from the fruit, because 45% of it is made with fresh raspberry pulp. Why should the fruit lose any of its defining characteristics just because it’s on a stick? The seeds and the natural acidity of the raspberry are what make this sorbet on a stick refreshing and thirst quenching!
In these areas, raspberries are at their best thanks to the mild temperatures and the fresh and dry silica soil: raspberries are rich in anti-oxidant vitamins and are extremely refreshing during the hot summer months. The best cultivated varieties are the Heritage, Tulameen and Rossana.
Yes, you read correctly. Just as you would do, we chose to make our sorbets and Sicilian granita with water from "Sparea®" Springs. This water is born in a unique niche in the Piedmontese Alps and is extremely light and pure - ideal for accompanying the fruit from the organic farm, Mura Mura®. We are a little crazy… but you can certainly taste the difference!
